2 Timothy 1:5

2 Timothy 1:5 (ESV) - "I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well."

Have you every noticed this verse? Paul is noting Timothy's Godly upbringing. Obviously, Paul recognizes the importance of God and family. He also compliments Timothy by saying the same traits his relatives had, he has also.

I can say this about my family, that's for sure. I have a ways to go though to be like them spiritually.
