There's a new show on that I'm hooked on: Jericho. A small isolated town is in the middle of a nuclear disaster. The town folk see a mushroom cloud in the distance. Then over the next few episodes, small clues are slowly revealed. It always leaves you wanting to know more. Some of my favorite scenes inclue one where the power briefly comes back on. The T.V. is turned on and at one point, they only see a Presidential podium with no person behind it. Another involves a scene where the mysterious new resident Robert Hawkins puts some pins in a map he has in his basement. Several pins are dotted across the map to represent other explosions that he learned about via morse code. Is he friend or foe? What is really going on? I guess I'll have to wait and see.
The show comes on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. We've been taping it during church.
Edit - All the errors corrected. Sheesh.
