Bummer

Well, I was shocked to see the results of last night's midterm results. Wow. America spoke rather loudly. I think the president said it best: "The Republicans took a thumpin'. "


Congratulations media. Your endless assault on the President finally paid off.


Since things have shifted now, it means the Democrats actually have to have a plan now. They simply can't heckle the President anymore, they have to DO something. Let's see how it pans out in the next two years. Already, there is talk of impeachment.

Who knows, maybe taking the Republicans taking a hit now will work in our favor in '08.

Weird things happened in Alabama. Bob Riley (R) is still our governor. Yet, Alabamians have a new Democrat Lt. Governor (who was actually our Governor a few years ago). We also replaced our Republican Chief Justice with a Democrat who supported Kerry in '04. I'm guessing most people don't vote on what candidates believe it, but more how they look on T.V. That's dangerous.


God Bless America. Thank God we live in a nation that allows choice. Too bad the best one was not made yesterday.
