Stormy Weather

We had stormy weather the other day. Nothing to the extent of what happened in Tennessee. However, we did spend Friday night at the church building to be near the safe room. We did need it too. About 1 a.m., it got really bad, the sirens went off, and we all packed into our the safe room of the building. It was weird because the tiles in the room were bouncing and we could hear some kind of rumbling. Not sure what it was, but in our area there were several trees down. Power was out for much of Pleasant Grove, but not for us.

Camp was affected. Over 80 trees were knocked down. Roofs were damaged to six buildings. We hope that camp will be ready for June sessions. EDIT - Click here for a news article regarding the damage.

Speaking of camp, the annual Walkfest to raise money is coming up. If you'd like to sponsor Addi, let us know. (I believe insurance will cover the damage from the storm. This is just money for camp in general).
