Last week was one of those weeks where everything went just right. First, after three weeks of dieting I lost 15 pounds! Woo hoo! I'm going to keep at it.
Next, I got some good news in the mail. In a previous post, I told you about getting my national certification. I was a candidate for the program for the 2007-2008 school year. Now I'm a candidate for 2006-2007. I've already registered and can begin immediately on some of the work. Last night, I printed up the 308 page document for my portfolio. I'm glad I'll get to do this with four other teachers next year.On Friday, we all went up to my school to do some unpacking. Kim was looking at a gift basket I got for Teacher Appreciation Week and found a $25.00 Wal-Mart gift card that I missed. Can't beat that.
Finally, I got a call for more private tutoring. This will speed up getting our new car fund built.
The only bad thing I missed was watching our odometer in the van show "123,456." Actually, that's not a great thing since it reminds us of how many miles are on our van.
A new week has started now, but I'm confident it will be a good one too.
