Back on a Diet

Today I began a new diet. This time, I'm counting points with Weight Watchers. My wife Kim and her best friend Rachel have been doing it with some success, so I'm going to do it too. We'll see how much weight I lose next week. If I can stick with it a couple of days, then I'll be able to stick with it even longer. During my last diet that I began in January, I lost 17 pounds. I'd love to 70+ pounds like I did 3 years ago.



Tomorrow, we are going to see our friends Adam and Autumn up in South Carolina. We'll stop somewhere along the way and have a good lunch at Applebees. I think they list Weight Watchers points on their menus. I have a $40 gift card that I got from school.

Of course, camp is coming and it will be hard to stick with a diet then. I'm going to try though. We have good cooks (aka my Mother-in-Law) and we get spoiled all week. We all end up putting on a few pounds.

  1. Good luck with WW. I have lost 24 lbs since January and feel great! It really is easy to "stay on it." Just always remember your portions and you can eat about anything in small amounts. Hope it does well for you!
