Today I got a letter in the mail regarding National Board Certification. You probably remember me blogging about this in a previous entry. Anyway, I am now a candidate for the 07-08 school year! This means I will begin work towards my next big step in my career. The rewards are great: I'll learn how to be a better teacher and get a nice pay raise too.
Four other teachers at school applied. Two are candidates for 06-07 and another is for 07-08. I'm not sure about the fifth teacher. I'll have at least one teacher to work with as I go through this lengthy process.
