My grandmother is not doing well and there is a good chance I'll be flying out to Oklahoma the next couple of days. Please keep her and my family in your prayers.

Today was a long day at work (see the title). I stayed after this afternoon getting things ready for next week. Plus, I had to get report cards done. Grades must be in our computers by Monday afternoon. What was really strange was that I was not the last teacher to leave tonight.

We took our first field trip today to Children's Theater in B'ham. We saw Beauty and the Beast. I wasn't very impressed. When did this story have talking rats?

Tomorrow morning will be a busy day. Our school is having a "Helping Schools" day that is sponsored by our Fox 6 TV station.
