Tonight was our Lads to Leaders Kick Off at church. This is our 7th year of paraticipation at Sylvan Springs. Kim and I have been in charge of it the last two. It is an awesome program full of opportunities for spiritual growth for youth. Out of our congregation of 100, we have over 50 go to the convention at Nashville.
While there are a couple of smaller conventions in the southeast, nothing beats going to the Opryland Hotel and being around over 10,000 other Christians. We love it.
We had a lot of winners last year and I know this year will be successful too. Of course, the best success is the spiritual growth!

Thanks for all your hard work. You and Kim did a great job in the Kick Off program. Kim really did well on preparing food for everyone and you had everything very organized. I am proud of you both.
