Here comes Dennis

Ivan, Arlene, Cindy, and now Dennis. No, these are not the names of any future children. These are the names of tropical storms.

Ivan a big one last year, but not as big as the news media in Birmingham made it out to be. I laughed out loud when I was watching the local news during the storm and one station found the first tree that fell down! It looked like someone kicked it over. Anyway, we all survived that one even though most of the city lost power.

Arlene and Cindy just brought some rain. Of course, I know down south it was much worse with all of these storms.

Dennis is approaching next. We are supposed to go to the beach tomorrow with Kim's family, but may have to wait and see what the next storm does.
