Let there be light!

"Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light." - Genesis 1:3 (NKJV)

The sun came out in Alabama today. We've had rain it seems for nearly three weeks now. Tropical "storm" Arlene didn't make it any better. After church tonight, we saw sunlight and there was not a cloud in the sky.

Addi likes the sun, but not all the time. She sometimes gets annoyed when the sun is in her eyes. She'll say "Bop (stop), sun!" If we ask her who made the sun, she'll say "God!"

Incidently, the above verse is the theme for next year's Lad's to Leader's convention. Kim and I head up this program at church. We have a blast going each year and it's great to see our youth grow spiritually.
