The White Death Cometh

Today we had some heavy flurries. We haven't seen snow here since 2001. Addi has never seen snow herself, so she was excited. She stood out in it and her red hair became sprinkled with spots of snow. Her first thought was "We can't make a snowball" since it was off and on. She's so funny. I would've had a picture, but it stopped right when I got the camera ready.
Down here in Alabama, it's a bit funny. The past month or so, I've heard the weatherman talk about the possibility of flurries here and there. How come they never talk about the possibility of sprinkles in the same fashion?

In other news, we bought Addi the movie "Annie" today. Not that TV remake version, but the original one. Most strangers that come up to see Addi say "Oh, you could be in Annie!" Addi likes it so far. One thing comes to mind about that movie though and that is my sister Katie. She used to watch that movie repeatedly when she was young.
